True Storytelling Institute is a storytelling academy and a community for research and a thinktank with years of experiences working with storytelling and changes management in private and public organizations and NGO´s around the world.

We work with different partners around the world in research and in public and private organizations and ngo´s. We invite people to share ideas, cases and concepts. We do the powerfull certificate program, projects, consulting and seminar. We are all about storytelling and sustainable changes.

Founders

The True Storytelling concept was founded by David Boje, US, Jens Larsen, Denmark, and Lena Bruun, Denmark, back in 2016. And in 2020 together with professor Grace Ann Rosili The True Storytelling Instituted where founded.

Jens Larsen is storyteller researcher and executive coach and consultant working with companies and organizations about leadership, the UN goals and sustainabilty. He has written books about ethical coaching, storytelling and leadership. He is an expert in Scandinavian Leadership and way of life and a founder of Old Friends Industries. Jens has worked with leaders from Skandinavian brands like IKEA, Novo Nordisk, Mærsk etc.

Lena Brunn is an experienced fundraiser and manager in a Danish municipality. She has created National Geographic prize-winning museum for youth culture and music in Denmark, and has been working Roskilde Festival that focuses on sustainability.

David Boje is Regents Professor at New Mexico State, & honorary doctorate, Aalborg University and a co-founder of True Storytelling. He has studied storytelling process for 37 years. He writes books and research articles about storytelling methods.
